I know we have all heard it and been guilty of ignoring it, but as a professional in the HVAC business I can attest first hand to the harmful effects of neglecting your HVAC units routine maintenance. Think of it like a automobile, the average person probably gets their oil changed every 3000 miles and this is of utmost importance for the longevity of your vehicle. The same can be said of your HVAC system. Below is a list of just a few problems that can occur with such neglect.

Dirty condenser coils: Without proper cleaning your condensers coils cant breath and in turn cannot properly function to the manufactures specifications. A unit that is designed to be extremely efficient can lose up to 50% of its efficiency just from not having your coils cleaned properly. It also caused wear and tear on your condenser and fan motor, which could potentially cost you thousands on repairs. Keep your coils clean, its a no brainer.

Loose wires: At TayFer all of our routine maintenance plans include inspection and repair of loose wires. Not only could this save you money on costly repairs but it is a major safety and fire concern. Loose wires can heat up and potentially become a fire hazard. Your families safety is the utmost importance to us.

Dirty evaporator coils: This is a major problem in the HVAC industry. Homeowners forget to change their filters on time and before you know it your evaporator coils are completely clogged. These coils are extremely hard to get to. Cleaning them can be very costly and time consuming. One of our maintenance plans can insure your coils are clean and running at peak performance!

This list was just a brief description of only a few things that need to be maintained. Contact us today to discuss how we can help keep your HVAC system running at optimal performance all year long!
